Configuración para el internet usando
Windows 95/98

  • Double-click the Dial-Up Networking icon in the My Computer window. ( En el escritorio de la computadora, oprima dos veces al icono demarcado My Computer. Oprima dos veces al icono Dial-Up Networking.)
  • Double-click the Make New Connection icon. (Oprima dos veces al icono Make New Connection.)
  • Under Type a name for the computer you are dialing type Softcom. (Bajo la sección Type a name for the computer you are dialing, borre lo que esté en el blanco y tecle Softcom. )
  • Click the Next button. (Oprima el botón Next.)


  • Determine which access number is local for you. (Determine cual numero de telefono es local para udsted.)
  • Type the area code and telephone numbers in the appropraite fields. (Ahora en el espacio Area Code, va dejarlo en blanco. Tecle en el espacio Telephone number el número designado para su ciudad.)
  • Click the Next button. (Oprima el botón Next.)

  • Click the Finish button. (Oprima el botón Finish.)


  • Click the Softcom icon. (Oprima una vez al icono Softcom.)
  • Click File from the menu bar. (Después, oprima File (se encuentra a la mano izquierda).)
  • Click Properties. (Selecione Properties.)
  • Click the Server Types tab. (Escoga la tabula Server Types.)

  • Uncheck Log on to network. (Bajo Advanced Options, quíte la flecha de la opción Log on to
    network    .    )
  • Check Enable software compression. (Seleccione la opción Enable software compression.)
  • Uncheck Require encrypted password. (Quite la flecha de Required encrypted password.)
  • Uncheck NetBEUI. (Bajo Allowed network protocols, quíte la flecha de NetBEUI.)
  • Uncheck IPX/SPX Compatible. (Quíte la flecha IPX/SPX Compatible.)
  • Check TCP/IP. (Agrege una flecha a la opción TCP/IP.)
  • Click the TCP/IP Settings button.(Oprima el botón TCP/IP Settings.)

  • Select Server assigned IP address. (Seleccione Server assigned IP address.)
  • Select  Server assigned name server addresses.(Seleccione Server assigned name server addresses.)
  • Click the OK button. (Oprima el botón OK.)
  • Click OK again. (Oprima el botón OK de nuevo.)
  • Click OK one more time. (Oprima el botón OK una última vez.)
